You will be completing two ISU units for your Grade 9 Academic Math course (one per semester):
1. ISU Measurement Unit (Click to access ISU instructions and lesson activities for the Measurement unit)
2. ISU Geometry Unit (Click to access ISU instructions and lesson activities for the Geometry unit.)
You are to learn the related concepts and achieve the expected curriculum expectations on your own through online learning experiences. Tutorial time will be provided in class and after school, and it is your responsbility to take advantage of the support offered in order to do well on the ISU summative evaluations.

Learning tools to be used for teaching you the concepts include:
1. Textbook: McGraw-Hill Ryerson
McGraw-Hill Text - You must email Ms. Chor to get your ebook passcode if you don't have a textbook.
2. Math Videos
(Either embedded in the webpage or you will be instructed to visit another site for the videos.)
3. Interactive Practices
(Either embedded in the webpage or visit another site for the practices.)
4. Email your math teacher (When you encounter any problems, email Ms. Chor or Ms. Xherro for help!)
5. Updates
(Any updated information will be hightlighted in red. Always read website updates and your emails.)
6. EQAO Formula Sheet for Measurement (You should memorize all the formulas for areas and volumes.)
Don't use the formulas for perimeters and surface areas which do not work for composite figures!
Make sure you are able to set up your accounts for the aforementioned learning tools using the appropriate passcode, username and/or password. If you have problems setting up your access account, see Ms. Chor!
